June 2 – Total Experience Gospel Choir

We will host an amazing group with a very rich history in Seattle – the Total Experience Gospel Choir will be performing in the sanctuary at Olympic View Church on June 2, 2018 at 7 p.m. This evening will be very special and bittersweet because Pastor Pat Wright is planning to retire this year, which means this may be one of their very last performances. Pastor Pat is internationally famous and a great ambassador for Gospel music, community engagement, and walking the walk of Jesus Christ.

This event is a fundraiser for the non-profit SODA organization. SODA stands for “Service Opportunities for Disabled Americans”. They find ways for disabled people to work together for service projects and paying jobs. The director of SODA, Monica Shuman, is also a member of the choir, along with her husband Bryce Hoverter. She has a lot of determination, a big smile, and her own business! SODA helps disabled people find purpose and meaning, creating a stronger community for non-disabled people as well.
