Accessibility

At Olympic View, we are seeking to expand our accessibility.

Our Sanctuary and office are located on the upper level of the church building.  We have on-street, designated wheelchair access parking along 5th Avenue, just South of the bus stop.  That is also where the church van unloads passengers we pick up at Northaven Retirement Community.

Our Social Hall is located on the lower level of the church building, accessible from three handicapped parking spaces in our rear parking lot.  There is a chair lift to carry people from one level to the other; unfortunately, it cannot carry a person in a wheelchair.  We are raising money to install an elevator.

During Sunday worship,  we offer assistive listening headsets for the hearing impaired.

For the visually impaired, we offer large print bulletins and song sheets.

If you know of ways we can improve our accessibility, please let us know.  Financial considerations have prevented us from offering all of the services we’d like to, but we welcome your ideas and support in removing barriers to the full participation of our members and guests.
