“Wherever two or three are gathered together in my name,”
Jesus promised, “there I am in the midst of them.”
What is fellowship? A celebration meal, an outing with friends, a hand held quietly in the courtyard after a memorial…even sometimes the peaceful airing of a disagreement.
While fellowship consists of planned activities, such as potlucks and excursions, it can also crop up unexpectedly through on-the-spot kindnesses and impromptu conversations when we express our interest and concern for those around us. Because fellowship is love it seeks its own course. We simply need to gather in loving awareness of those around us, in loving awareness of Jesus.
