SNOW CAMP 2021!!

Family Snow Camp | January 22-24, 2021 & January 29-31, 2021

Join us for a wonderful family friendly retreat at Camp Koinoinia. The weekend will be filled with safe, socially distant activities including snow tubing, snowman building, snow ball throwing and snow races. Did we mention snow? In addition to playing in the snow, we will have evening campfires with smores, daily family bible study activities, family crafts, family cabin time and more.

Every meal will be shared in the lodge and families will sit together. Families will each have their own heated cabin. There will be opportunity for free time and relaxation! Every activity is optional and we encourage families to find activities that they can do together around camp.

Families must be from the same household staying in the cabin. If grandparents join, we ask that they reserve their own cabin.

Check-in: Friday, beginning at 4:00pm Check-out: 11:00am Sunday

Register by e-mailing Kevin Eichhorn (director@campkoinonia.org) with #adults #children #children under 4 and dates for retreat. The cost for the retreat is $125 per person (2 nights; 5 meals). Ages 0-4 are free. There is a family max of $400 for same household families

Camp plays a unique role for the church by asking us to brush off spiritual stagnation with a walk in the woods.  By getting away, we learn to value and develop the silence an open heart requires.  We build fellowship by connecting with friends new and old around a fire. Olympic View Community Church visits Camp Koinonia in Cle Elum, Washington at least twice a year.  The name “Koinonia” means communion; visit Camp Koinonia for Summer Camp or Snow Camp.  Camp Myrtlewood, in Myrtlepoint, Oregon, provides our setting for work camps that engage campers in issues of Pacific Northwest Ecology and Conservation; additionally, Camp Myrtlewood hosts the Church of the Brethren’s annual Men’s Retreat.
